Glass Quality
All Alec Buchan Glass Tiles are manufactured to our Rocket Man Glass Specifications. What is Rocket Man Glass? A premium glass that allows easy cutting of the glass as well as drilling the glass for water pipes, rawlplugs for shelves and toilet roll holders or shower screens. The tiles can be drilled on site with a diamond-tipped holesaw or Aqua Cut by a professional.
Installation
Installation is easy, in fact, many of our customers have completed DIY installations with exceptional results. Do Glass Tiles take longer to install than Ceramic Tiles? The cutting takes a bit longer but the finished result is incomparable.
We recommend BAL Max-Flex Fibre White Tile Adhesive and BAL Micromax 2 Grout – 2-3mm grout width. We can supply adhesive and grout to be delivered at the same time as your new tiles.
Samples
Please request a sample tile. Position the tile in the room you intend to tile and check it out at different times of the day. It will subtly change in tone depending on the amount and type of light available.
When you receive the tile position it onto a solid white background to view the true colour. If the light is allowed to pass through the sample tile it will appear lighter than when fitted.

Tolerance
Glass Metro Tiles should be considered a handmade product and may differ in actual size by 1 – 2 mm. If you plan to blend two or more colours together please contact us to ascertain if different colours across different batch dates can be blended without difficulty.
